Although Mr Paremain ordered 2 MRIs and a blood test and a brief examination , he obviously seemed to think I was exaggerating my pain . I had no follow up letter from him , just a copy to my doctor , when I requested it , from his secretary where he says I quote “She looks remarkably well and buzzes around outpatients at a rate of knots” As I was sitting quietly in an empty waiting room with a mask on , feeling a bit sick after the MRI , I found this remark very insensitive . I am probably paying for this treatment myself , so felt that as I was , and still am in pain , the Doctor / patient relationship was sadly lacking . Although glad to get a clear diagnoses , there is always a reason for pain . I was advised to go privately as the back log in the NHS would have been a very long wait . I was not impressed,
